45 Best Erotic Movie (Part 1)

Sensualitas dalam film yang mengacu pada tindakan seksual termasuk adegan bercinta telah digambarkan dalam banyak film sejak era film bisu. Banyak aktor dan aktris yang telah dengan sengaja mempertontonkan bagian pribadi dari tubuh mereka dan atau berakting adegan percintaan dengan masih mempergunakan sebagain pakain dengan cara yang dianggap provokatif secara seksualitas di beberapa titik sepenjanga karier akting mereka.

Banyak film yang dengan atau tanpa tema tentang sensualitas tapi mengandung konten ke'dewasa'an yang begitu sarat, telah dikritk oleh kelompok-kelompok agam, bahkan dilarang pemerintah setempat untuk penayangannya dikarenakan saratnya adegan percintaan yang nyaris begitu vulgar.

Namun konten "dewasa" dalam film, harus dibedakan juga, mana yang 'adegan seronok/vulgar' dan mana yang 'nudinity'. Ketelanjangan dan seksualitas merupakan fitur dari film porno terutama hardcore. Dalam film-film softcore, adegan seksualitas tidak begitu secara explisit ditampilan. Film erotis yang sugestif dari seksualitas, tetapi tidak melulu mengandung ketelanjangan. Dan berantagonis dengan film tentang naturism yang mana berkonten tentang orang-orang telanjang yang pastinya sudah dianggap sebagai sebuah kewajaran dan mungkin kontennya adalah ketelanjangan non seksual.

Genre film erotis softcore, seperti halnya genre lainnya pernah mempunyai era kejayaan dimana ketika salah satu film booming, maka akan diikuti dengan diluncurkannya film-film sejenis. Dan beberapa film dari genre tersebut nyaris menjadi legenda di industri perfilaman. Kita pastinya tidak pernah melupakan kehadiran "Basic Instinct" yang melambungkan mana Sharon Stone, atau "91/2 Weeks" yang mengangkat Kim Basinger ke jajaran atas artis-artis seksi Hollywood dan atau "Wild Orchid". Dari kubu Asia, siapa yang akan lupa penampilan Christy Chung dalam film produksi Thailand "Jan Dara". Terus "Kamasutra - A Tale of Love" dari Mira Nair yang menghebohkan di tahun 1996.
